We have hotels in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Copenhagen, and now Reykjavik, and we are working behind the scenes to conquer Europe.

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman for CityHub.

Working in a hotel environment 

You will play a key role in upholding the functionality of our facilities and contributing to the overall guest experience. You will work in various areas of the hotel, including Hangout (a common area with a self-serve bar and cosy seating), bathrooms, toilets, and Hubs (our private sleeping units). We are looking for a skilled handyman to join our team full-time between September 1st until mid-October. After this period, approx. 8 hours every 1/2 week to maintain the hotel.

This is what you'll do:

Responsibilities first 1,5 months (full time from the 1st of September, until mid October):

  • Final installation of items in Hubs (our rooms): wall hooks, door stoppers, bed-making tools, etc.

  • Bathroom installations: wall hooks, equipment, trash bins, etc.

  • Installation of elements in common areas: furniture items, screens, bar equipment (non-electrical) and branding elements like art, Hub façade elements, styling

  • Back-of-house installations: tables & desks, shelves, kitchenettes, and small elements

Responsibilities maintenance hotel:

  • Maintenance of the Hubs

  • Fixing things around the hotel

  • Installing or building new items

Your profile:

  • You have a strong attention to detail

  • You have 5-10 years of experience

  • You speak English fluently

  • You have your own tools (mandatory)

  • You ideally (but not necessarily) have an external workshop to produce small elements
